Adobe has released a nice and free photo editing application for your iPhone called “Photoshop.com Mobile“. You can take, select, edit and upload photos to some Photoshop page. It comes with the following editing functions:
Crop, rotate, flip
Exposure, saturation, tint, black & white
Sketch, soft focus
Vibrant, pop, border, vignette blur, warm vintage, rainbow, white glow, soft black and white
Nice app if you like taking photos with your iPhone.
Oh no! This application seems only to work the iPhone 3GS, I definitely need to upgrade my 3G But in some situations it’s recommended not to use this application I guess… haha.

There is a new iPhone application called “Best Camera” available. It allows shooting pictutres, putting several filters/effects on pictures and uploading them quickly to online communities like Facebook, Twitter or sending via e-Mail.
It also allows sending pictures to the new online community thebestcamera.com. I think the app only makes sense with the iPhone 3GS, it seems that the camera of the 3Gs is better than the one of my 3G. At least it has a auto focus now… The tool is explained in this video:
Some of you will still remember PAC-MAN. If you want to enjoy this classic game you can get it for your iPhone/iPod. The free version comes with one level. Funny thing…

Installation
If you have Wordpress 2.7 or newer installed, the installation can be done with a few clicks:
Enter the admin page and select “Plugins”
Scroll down to the section “Get More Plugins”
Select “Plugin Browser/Installer”
Search for “WPtouch” and install
Otherwise you have to go the manual way.
Problems with WP Super Cache
If you are using WPtouch together with the WP Super Cache plugin you may run into trouble, I solved it with the following steps:
In Settings->WP Super Cache add the following Recected User Agents:
iPhone
iPod
aspen
dream
incognito
webmate
BlackBerry9500
BlackBerry9530
Add the following line in your .htaccess RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} !^.+(iPhone|iPod|aspen|dream|incognito|webmate|BlackBerry9500|BlackBerry9530)
This line should be inserted above the following existing line: RewriteCond %{DOCUMENT_ROOT}/wp-content/cache/supercache/%{HTTP_HOST}/$1/index.html -f
Very funny comparison But it’s true, the iPhone is missing some important features. In a few weeks iPhone OS 3.0 will be released which will bring some “new” features. Hopefully the comparison will then get more green checkmarks.

Maybe you have seen this iPhone 3G ad somewhere and you have been wondering why all operations are completed quite fast. It looks like a Turbo iPhone and I wish my one would have the same speed. But in reality the iPhone usability speed is slower and therefore the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) forced Apple to pull the television advert.
The PC Pro Magazine in the UK checked how long it really takes to do all the operations shown in the 30 seconds ad video from Apple. It was shown the operations need two minutes and 21 seconds in real live to complete. Compared to the 30 seconds in the ad quite a big difference. To see the difference have a look at the video from PC Pro Magazine which compares the 30 seconds ad video and the real behavior of the iPhone with WiFi connection:
Speed Test is a native iPhone application without advertising and allows you to measure the network speed of your iPhone or iPod Touch. The application come from speedtest.net which is a well known site for measuring your speed of your network connection.
But in some situations it’s recommended not to use this application I guess… haha.
